High Speed Camera Interface Board for a Virtual / Augmented Reality application

Qmax Systems has designed a High Speed Camera Interface Board for a Virtual / Augmented Reality application.

The camera units had Micro USB 3.0 Female connectors which had to be connected directly to the interface board without using cables. Micro USB 3.0 Male connector is not available in PCB mount versions. This presented a unique mechanical challenge which we overcame using a custom mechanical reinforcement design.
